Odisha Judicial Service Examination Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification OJS Exam

A candidates applying for Odisha Judicial Service Examination 2018 must have following qualification. A Degree (Graduation) in LAW from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. A Superintendent or a Ministerial Officer in the High Court or any Civil or Criminal Court sub-ordinate to the High Court or an Assistant Law Officer or Translator of the Law Department of Government, shall also be eligible for appearing at the OJS examination.

Age Limit

A candidate applying OJS exam must not have minimum age of 23 years and maximum age is 35 years as on 01 August 2018 i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1983 and not later than 01.08.1995. Relaxation in age limits will be given as per applicable rules. Ex-Servicemen age will be actual period of service rendered in the defence forces plus 3 years

Odisha Judicial Service Exam Selection Process

Candidates are selected for Odisha Judicial Service on the basis of two stages of written exam (Prelim & Main Exam). Selected candidates will face an interview after shortlisted in written exam for Odisha Judicial jobs.

Places of OJS Pre & Main Exam

Preliminary Written Examination of OJS	The Preliminary Written Examination may be held at 5 zonal centres; viz Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack & Sambalpur.
Main Written Examination	The Main Written Examination may be held either at the above 5 zones or at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack zones only taking into view the number of candidates selected for the said examination.
