Afcat Exam Notification: The Indian Air Force has recently announced an official notification regarding AFCAT Exam 2019. Indian Air Force invites Indian citizens (Men and Women) to be part of this elite force as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Online examination will be conducted on 16 Feb 19 and 17 Feb 19 for AFCAT exam.

The selected aspirants will be appointed, with a designation Flying Officer, with salary pay of Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,10,700 per month.
Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination viz. Written examination and SSB test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the written examination or AFSB Testing, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled by the IAF.

What is Afcat?
Afcat is the short name of Air Force Common Admission Online Test. The Indian Air Force conducts this examination for flying branch and ground duties (Technical and non-technical)/ NCC special entry. This Afcat Exam notification is published twice a year. IAF officers are selected through AFCAT Exam under SSC Scheme.
What is the age limit of Afcat?
Candidates interested for AFCAT Exam 2019 should have 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course). Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years(at the time of commencement of course).
