JE/Civil, Mech, Elect, S&T: Candidates applying for junior engineer posts should have passed 03 years diploma in respective stream.
Technician-III: Candidates applying for Technician-III posts should have passed 10th/Matriculation with either NTC or NAC issued by NCVT in the trade of fitter in respective stream.
Jr.Clerk-cum-Typist: Passed 12th Class with not less than 50% marks as aggregate and
Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.
Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: 12th class or it’s equivalent with 50% marks as aggregate.
Goods Guard: Candidates applying for Goods Guard posts should have passed Degree from a recognized board.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for appearing in the GDCE will be reckoned as on the date of notification.
General: Maximum Age – 42 Years
OBC: Maximum Age – 45 Years
SC/ST: Maximum Age – 47 Years

The questions set in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be of Multiple Choice Objective Type. The question paper will be set in English & Hindi. The questions are likely to include subjects pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, Reasoning and Technical questions, wherever applicable. The Computer Based Test (CBT) examination will be conducted by RRC Bhubaneswar.
For the posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Typing Skill Test (TST) of qualifying nature. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
